Litsea Cubeba oil

Natural Pure Litsea Cubeba oil, that is VIE May Chang Oil, Litsea Cubeba Berry Oil, is extracted from Litsea cubeba fruits by steam distillation. The effective content is citral, 70-80%. So it is always applied as fragrance and spice flavoring, daily essence and food flavor, fresher, etc. In fragrance and spices and flavor industry, Litsea cubeba oil is usually used for extracting citral to synthesize ionones and vitamin, etc.

Odor: Fresh and Sweet Fruity; with lemon-like odor; with strong odor but not good persistence.

Appearance: light yellow to yellow clear liquid.

Relative density: 0.882 ~ 0.905 (25℃); 

Refractive index: 1.4810 ~ 1.4880 (25℃); 

Boiling point: 232 ℃;

Optical rotation : + 2 ~ + 12 (20℃); 

Floc point: 130 ℉;

Main ingredients: carbonyl compounds (calculated by citral) ≥74%. The main component is citral. Its content is about 70% - 80%.
