How to Choose Netting for Your Application

Compare your target protection, mesh requirements, fabric weight and installation conditions.

Start with the application

Describe where the netting will be installed and what you want to protect. Identify the crop or goods, the growing environment, and the target risk such as hail, birds, insects, shading or debris. A photograph or installation drawing can help explain the situation.

Compare the product construction

Review mesh openings, netting weight, colour and finishing for the intended product. These details should be read together. A name or weight alone does not describe every requirement, and dimensions or appearance are not a substitute for a relevant performance test.

Check installation conditions

Confirm the installation layout, support structure, panel sizes, attachment points and handling requirements. Share your installation details so the available product options can be reviewed. Where structural, loading or safety performance matters, agree the required evidence for the particular product.

Confirm a useful specification

List the finished dimensions, quantity, product reference and any required tolerances or inspection criteria. Include edge finishing and eyelets where applicable. If you have not decided a mesh size or weight, describe your application rather than guessing a technical value.

Review the order before production

Confirm the selected specification, sample reference where applicable, packing format, labels and destination. Ask which testing or reporting requirements need a separate agreement. Keep the agreed specification and approved sample reference together for the order.

Discuss Your Netting Requirements

Tell us the product you need, your application, dimensions, quantity and delivery destination.
